The actor Paul Kaye and the Labour politician Hazel Blears were both graduates of Nottingham Trent University, a large university situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre in England. With approximately 24,000 students it is one of the UK's larger universities with four main colleges offering a full range of study programs at graduate and undergraduate level. The university has benefited in recent years from major development and substantial funding. Nottingham Trent claims to have one of the best graduate employment records in the UK with 97.5% of students starting work or further study within six months of graduating.
