Located between two remarkable spots of natural beauty, the Island of Anglesey and Snowdonia, The University of Bangor (Bangor University) has campuses throughout Bangor in Wales, in the United Kingdom. With 15,000 students studying a wide variety of graduate and undergraduate courses the university, once known as The University of North Wales, is a key part of life in the area and has been since it was established in 1884 with just 58 students. Filmmaker Danny Boyle was a graduate of Bangor University.
